Field Clinical Specialist
Responsible for training physicians and support staff on the ReShape procedures, products, counseling processes/protocols and technical placement and removal procedures. This position will require extensive travel, predominantly within the U.S.
Onsite training of physicians and support staff on the ReShape Procedures, and the ReShape Program that deals with diet, exercise and behavior modification counseling protocols.
Ensure that the ReShape Product placements and removals are performed in accordance with the IFUs and any study protocols (if applicable).
Assessment and monitoring of physicians’ skill levels related to ReShape Procedures. Perform retraining, as needed.
Work with clinical sites to ensure they establish and maintain sufficient inventory (and tracking) of devices and all accessories.
Trouble-shoot with physician or allied care staff when technical/procedural or patient–related (counseling protocol) issues arise.
Provide technical and clinical feedback to R&D, Marketing and Sales regarding device performance, user ergonomics, and suggested design improvements. Identify improvements in the procedure techniques to simplify use or reduce time/effort, and implement in training, as appropriate.
Continuously evolve training to incorporate new products, techniques, and insights.
Partner with sales personnel as an integral team member in starting up new accounts and establishing training process.
BSN/BS in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical or Health Services degree/Equivalent work experience.
5+ years related industry experience
Demonstrated background in training development and execution with physicians
