ReShape Lifesciences has a fantastic opportunity for a Field Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role will be dedicated to Direct-to-Consumer local marketing activities that leverage sales.  This includes setting the go-to-market strategy based on market analysis, sales goals, localizing global campaigns and executing measurable pipeline acceleration programs.  This position actively supports sales representatives in gaining new customers and growing the share of existing customers through building customer relationships, advising customers on successful marketing practices to grow their Lap-Band®, reshapecare™ and other ReShape Lifesciences™ health-solution businesses through co-op and corporate marketing.


  •  Educate and support the customer with marketing strategies including but not limited to digital marketing, social media advertising, paid search strategies, paid social content marketing, SEO and healthcare professional’s website.
  • Ensure customer’s practice is optimized for lead pipeline conversion and experience.
  • Manage agency relations, including branding, website design/development, social media management, media strategy and buying, and call centers.
  • Manage Customer Relationship Management, including but not limited to development and testing of drip and push email campaigns to improve lead conversions to procedures and supporting current and orphaned Lap-Band® and reshapecare™ patients.
  • Develop local marketing plans based on market and competitive analysis, consumer personas and segmentation, and other key local market trends to determine the most effective marketing strategy.
  • Support and help to facilitate the execution of physician and patient online and offline events within the territory and area.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Sales Representative on all local marketing initiatives, plans and execution.
  • General responsibilities for all aspects of customer marketing in the assigned territory. This includes planning, organizing and implementing marketing activities related to the Lap-Band and reshapecare brands, with accountability for assisting in the achievement of territory utilization quotas and objectives.
  • Define, report on and optimize key metrics, including but not limited to impressions, web traffic, leads, consults and procedures completed and ROI.
  • Travel commitment up to 50% per week, including local and interstate, by car and/or air.


  •  Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to assess market to drive local marketing strategy, plan and revenue required
  • Experience working directly with physicians in a marketing capacity, preferably with direct-to-consumer medical or healthcare marketing experience
  • Experience in forecasting and measuring marketing effectiveness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of brand, digital and database marketing
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Products (Windows, Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience
  • Superior presentation and written communication skills
  • Proficient in tracking and analyzing data
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
  • Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed while passionate for working in collaborative environments
