Barton P. Bandy
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bandy brings extensive leadership experience in health care, specifically in the bariatric and minimally invasive surgery segments. Most recently, Mr. Bandy was President and Chief Executive officer of BroadSpot Imaging Corporation, a privately held ophthalmic imaging company, and prior to that he was President of the Wellness Division at Alphaeon Corporation. He previously spent 10 years as the senior executive leading the Inamed and Allegran Health Divisions through the launch, growth and transition of LAP-BAND®. Mr. Bandy formerly held positions of increased responsibility in sales, marketing and professional education at Ethicon Endo-Surgery and Karl Storz Endoscopy, America.
Mr. Tom Stankovich
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Stankovich has over 25 years of executive leadership experience as the CFO for multiple public and private healthcare companies. Tom has spent the past nine years as the Global Senior Vice President and CFO of MP Biomedicals, a life sciences and molecular biology-diagnostics company. At MP Biomedicals he was responsible for financial planning and reporting, financial operations and strategy development along with the acquisition and integration of two international companies. Prior to MP Biomedicals, Tom served as CFO at Response Genetics where he successfully led the company through their initial public offering. Additionally, he served as CFO for Cobalis Corporation and for Ribapharm, where he also led the company through their initial public offering, which at the time became the second largest ever IPO in the biotechnology sector. Tom also held CFO positions at ICN International, which later changed names to Valeant Pharmaceuticals.
Raj Nihalani, MD
Chief Technology Officer & Business Development
Dr. Nihalani has served as Chief Technology Officer & Business Development since May 2017, immediately following the Company’s acquisition of BarioSurg, Inc. From August 2008 to May 2017, Dr. Nihalani served as the Chief Executive Officer of BarioSurg, Inc., a privately held medical device company that developed a minimally invasive and reversible device to treat obesity and glycemic control. Dr. Nihalani has several US and international patents and has won awards for his inventions. He holds a medical degree from the University of Nagpur, India. Also, he held positions of increased responsibility at Endologix (ELGX), Medtronic (MDT), Acufocus, Inc, Rox Medical, & TrialMed Life Sciences.
Kevin Condrin
Senior Vice President, Market Development and Integration
Mr. Condrin joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Commercial in May 2019. In 2021, Kevin moved to SVP Market Development and Integration to manage the company’s key strategic initiatives such as M&A discovery and integration, international business, and other key product and market development growth opportunities. Mr. Condrin has over 25 years of global experience in Sales Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Procedure Development, and Training. Prior to joining ReShape Lifesciences, Kevin led the growth and development of numerous novel technologies and procedures primarily in the bariatric, endolumenal, laparoscopic, and advanced visualization spaces. In his many years as a medical device leader, he has held senior positions with increasing responsibilities while at USGI Medical, Medtronic, Covidien, Karl Storz, and Circon ACMI (now Olympus).
Vipul Shah
Senior Vice President, Operations and R&D
Mr. Shah joined the Company as Vice President of Operations and R&D in February 2018. With more than 20 years of experience in medical device manufacturing management, global supply chain, and information technology, he brings the business and technical requirements needed to ensure effective leadership and management. Prior to joining ReShape Lifesciences, Mr. Shah served as Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations at Presbia, where he oversaw global operations and manufacturing for optical medical device products, established the company’s manufacturing facility, and developed OEM overseas manufacturing. He has also held positions as Director of Manufacturing/Supply Chain for BiovisionAG/Visitome, Global Planning System Analyst at CooperVision, and Operations/IT Manager for Ocular Sciences.
Dov Gal, DVM, MBA
Vice President, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs and Compliance Officer
Dr. Gal joined the Company as Vice President, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs in September 2019. With more than 30-year experience as a practicing veterinarian, academician at Tufts University School of Medicine and subsequently in the medtech industry. Prior to joining ReShape Lifesciences, Dr. Gal held R&D, clinical marketing and clinical affairs positions in private start-up, and medium to large public medical device companies. Specifically, Dr. Gal led the regulatory, clinical and quality departments at ClearFlow Inc., the clinical department of the Heart Valve Therapy business at Edwards Lifesciences, the clinical department at Broncus Technologies, and was the director of clinical research at Medtronic Vascular. Dr. Gal holds a BSc. degree in biology from Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv Israel, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Pisa University, Pisa Italy, and an MBA degree from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts.
Brendan O’Connell
Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller
Mr. Brendan O’Connell joined the Company in August 2019 as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. Mr. O’Connell has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, with over 12 years in the medical device space. Most recently, Mr. O’Connell served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Biolase Incorporated. Mr. O’Connell holds a master’s degree from the University of California at Riverside.

Dan W. Gladney
Mr. Gladney served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the company from November 2015 to April 2019. He remains as Chairman of the Board of Directors, a position held since October 2016. Mr. Gladney joined the Company in November 2015 as President-elect and a member of the board of directors. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Gladney served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lanx, Inc., a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing innovative devices for spinal surgery. Prior to joining Lanx, Inc., Mr. Gladney was a Healthcare Operating Partner at Norwest Equity Partners (NEP), where he was responsible for strategic planning, business growth, and corporate governance for NEP portfolio companies, and executing new investment opportunities for the firm. Prior to joining NEP, Mr. Gladney served as President and Chief Executive Officer of several medical device companies including Heart Leaflet Technologies and ACIST Medical Systems, both of which were acquired by The Bracco Group. He also served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Complex Technologies, a publicly traded orthopedic and health and wellness electro therapy company. Mr. Gladney currently serves on the Board of Directors of ARIA CV, Inc. and has been a member of a number of other private and public company boards. After the sale of Lanx, Inc., he acted as a private investor and small business consultant.

Arda M. Minocherhomjee, Ph.D.
Arda M. Minocherhomjee, Ph.D., was a founding Partner of Chicago Growth Partners. Prior to founding CGP, Dr. Minocherhomjee was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners and a Managing Director and member of the Board of Managers of WBCP VI and VII. Prior to that, Dr. Minocherhomjee was a Senior Healthcare Analyst and partner at William Blair & Company. As head of the firm’s Healthcare Research Group, Dr. Minocherhomjee covered several sectors, including drugs/drug delivery, medical devices and selected healthcare services. He was a Wall Street Journal “All-Star Analyst” in both medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. Select current and past directorships include: AtheroGenics, CryoCor, DJ Pharma, EndoGastric Solutions, Favrille, Genoptix, Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, NuVasive, PharmaResearch Corporation, POINT Biomedical, Proteome and TargeGen. Dr. Minocherhomjee received a M.S. (Pharmacology) from the University of Toronto, a Ph.D. and a MBA from the University of British Columbia.
Lori C. McDougal
Ms. McDougal has served as a director since July 2015. With more than 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry at an executive level, she has also served as Executive Vice President at Optum, Inc., part of UnitedHealth Group, Inc. Prior to her time at Optum, she served as Chief Executive Officer of UnitedHealth Group’s subsidiary UnitedHealth Military & Veterans Services, LLC, and previously served as Chief Operating Officer of UnitedHealth Military & Veterans Services. Before joining UnitedHealth Military & Veterans Services, she served as a Vice President of UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement. Additionally, she served as President of UnitedHealth International, and Vice President of OptumInsight.
Gary D. Blackford
Mr. Blackford has served a director since August 2016. Mr. Blackford has over 30 years of executive experience in the healthcare industry, having most recently served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and member of the Board of Directors of Universal Hospital Services Inc., a nationwide provider of medical equipment management, technology, and service solutions for the healthcare industry. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Blackford was Chief Executive Officer of Curative Health Services, Inc., a specialty healthcare services and pharmacy distribution company. Mr. Blackford has also served in executive roles at pharmacy benefit management companies, including Medintell Systems Corporation, and ValueRx (acquired by Express Scripts). He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Wright Medical Group N.V., Halyard Health, Inc., and PipelineRx.
