Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District (PMHD) in San Diego now offers the ReShape® weight loss balloon system for people with mild to moderate obesity. According to Dr. Oscar Lopez of PMHD, the ReShape weight loss balloon is designed for patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 to 40.
The dual ReShape weight loss balloons are inserted into the stomach through a non-invasive endoscopic procedure and then filled with saline.
